Then she's crying, and the music is vibrating, the sound so loud that she can feel it. In this last area, the song goes on to say that the girl finally understands that the world isn't at all fair, and that if she doesn't hold strong, the world will destroy her, or consume her, hence the term eat. 'Your scream's a whisper' meaning that even when she screams, no one can hear. Obviously, the music is deeply affecting her, and the term 'forever preaching', just means that she's always gonna remember it. Anyone ever turned up your base real loud and felt the vibrations? She's holding onto a radio, and 'Turn it up, turn it up, The wind is coming through' means SOUND, as in music, which travels through the air. Transistor was a term used for radio way back when. ![]() You idiots, can you not see that there is nothing sexual about this song? Now go back and read the lyrics. The chick is lonely, obviously, and misunderstood, but she feels a sense of understanding in the music, I mean, don't you have songs that just click?
